I'm really attracted to this guy but I'm not so sure about his personality.....?

He's funny and kool but sometimes he seems like a "Debbie Downer"! Hahaa. We like the same type of music and stuff but it seems like he's trying way to hard. And, he doesn't seem to appreciate life as much as I do. Should I ignore his bad qualities and focus on the good ones or just forget him?
